Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer came back to revisit Mutant Inc. and check on progress. When last he was here in December, the 15 tons of machinery was still packed in shipping crates. “To see progress you’ve made in such a short period of time is truly amazing,” Mayor Dyer said.

Chairman and CEO Richard Marten explained Mutant would soon be ready to begin interviewing, hiring assembly operator team members, and having an even larger impact on the local economy.

CTO Dr. Lei Chen explained that Mutant Inc. will be the first operation in the United States to have this process, and is one to two years ahead of the competition.
