Peter S. Lau received his B.S. degree in 1976 and M.S.P.A. degree from the University of Hartford in 1978. Mr. Lau holds a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York and has held 7, 63 and 79 securities licensed. He began his career starting at Deloitte (Touche Ross and Company) and eventually, he had moved on to work for a Fortune 100 Company and for the Federal Government at the early part of his career. He also was a part of the team that work in Hong Kong that assisted the Sun Hai Kai Corporation (a joint venture/partnership with Merrill Lynch) in opening a Broker Dealer. Mr. Lau was one of the principles and was the managing director in-charge of the investment banking department at Buckman, Buckman Reid, a license Broker Dealer. He worked at the senior management level accountant as well as a corporate executive for several decades before he formed his own advisory company assisting both domestic and international clients. In the 1980’s, he had established on behalf of the Department of Commerce (under the President Reagan Administration- as an appointee) a business management advisory division to offer business services to the Asian American small business community in the United States. Beside providing these services for small business, he also assist these small business in obtaining private and public capital – equity, debt and Government grants. Mr. Lau has provided financial and management consultant advisory services for middle market and multinational firms in Asia and Europe on how to conduct and set up businesses in the United States as well as assisting several of these overseas companies in taking them public in the United States. He has held positions as CEO and/or CFO for the companies that needed to open the market in the United States. During the course in his career as an investment banker, he has led a team and/or participated in raising over a half billion dollars for his clients in either debt and/or equity. Furthermore, he has advised and participated with several of these domestic and overseas private companies in getting them listed or uplifted onto either the NYSE or NASDAQ. He is responsible and was the lead investment banker with providing mergers and acquisitions services as well as bringing them public either through the IPO or APO or SPAC offering in the middle market both domestically and internationally.
